1. Service
- GovBiz provides authenticated, usage-limited access to its production federal public-record catalog through MCP and REST. Customers connect their own tools and separately authorized applications. GovBiz no longer provides opportunity email digests or email-driven company agents.
- GovBiz does not write or submit proposals or responses, make bid/no-bid decisions, contact contracting officers, operate a capture pipeline, guarantee awards, or act on behalf of the U.S. Government.
2. Subscription and Cancellation
- A no-card trial provides 15 days of catalog access. It ends without a charge unless you purchase. Builder costs USD $49/month or $490/year. Professional costs USD $149/month or $1,500/year. Team costs USD $399/month or $4,000/year. Prices are per tenant, plus applicable taxes. Paid plans renew on the selected billing period until canceled through Billing. The catalog playground requires sign-in. Its captured samples are free to inspect. Live playground queries require active API access and consume the same request allowance as REST and MCP. Enterprise and Government access requires a separate quote.
- Builder limits are 60 requests per minute, 3,000 per day, 30,000 per calendar month, 3 API keys, and 1 user. Professional limits are 120 per minute, 10,000 per day, 100,000 per calendar month, 10 API keys, and 1 user. Team limits are 120 per minute, 20,000 per day, 300,000 per calendar month, 25 API keys, and 5 users. Limits are shared across the tenant. Existing annual subscribers retain their current price and grandfathered member access. Trial limits are 30 per minute, 1,000 per day, 10,000 per calendar month, and 3 keys. Requests are subject to concurrency, response-size, and execution-time limits. There are no automatic overage charges. Contact support to request higher limits.
- Cancel before renewal to stop future charges. Access continues through the paid period unless suspended for nonpayment or misuse. Unless law requires otherwise, partial periods are not refunded. Agent-provider subscriptions and third-party service fees are separate.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- You are responsible for authorized use of your account, credentials, and connected applications, for the accuracy and lawfulness of customer content, and for promptly correcting material misunderstandings.
- You must independently review every recommendation and the authoritative SAM.gov notice before acting. You are responsible for deadlines, eligibility, certifications, representations, compliance, pricing, submissions, and all procurement decisions and communications.
4. Public-Source Limitations
- SAM.gov and other government publishers control their records, availability, corrections, and update schedules. GovBiz does not warrant complete discovery, continuous availability, current or error-free records, relevance to every business objective, award eligibility, or any contract award.
- Generated explanations and confidence labels are decision-support information, not legal, procurement, accounting, or professional advice.
5. Acceptable Use
- You may not bypass security or usage controls, send malicious files, attempt prompt injection or data exfiltration, impersonate another person or government entity, misuse procurement information, infringe rights, disrupt the service, or use the agent for unlawful conduct.
- GovBiz may quarantine content, rate-limit activity, suspend access, or terminate service to protect customers, systems, providers, or legal compliance.
6. Ownership and Data
- You retain rights in your customer content. You grant GovBiz the limited rights needed to process it and provide, secure, support, and improve the contracted service as described in the Privacy Policy.
- You may use results in your applications, internal research, and customer deliverables, subject to source terms. Bulk data resale and custom licensing require a separate agreement.
- Public government records remain subject to source terms. GovBiz retains rights in its software, service design, prompts, schemas, ranking methods, and aggregated or de-identified operational learnings.
7. Disclaimers and Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, search completeness, opportunity relevance, or procurement outcome.
- To the extent permitted by law, GovBiz is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for decisions made from a recommendation or public-source record. Any aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the affected service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

- GovBiz is an independent commercial service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for SAM.gov, the General Services Administration, or the U.S. Government.
